How I Met Your Mother is headed to the big screen — sort of.

The CBS comedy has enlisted Malin Akerman, Jason Lewis and Chris Kattan to star in a fictional movie within the show on the May 17 episode, Entertainment Weekly reports.

The film, titled The Wedding Bride, tells the event’s of last season’s finale when Stella (Sarah Chalke) left Ted (Josh Radnor) for Tony (Jason Jones). Since then, Tony has penned a screenplay based on the events that casts Akerman as Stella, Lewis as Tony and Kattan as a much less likable version of Ted, named Jed Moseley, according to EW.

Judy Greer, who will also appear on The Big Bang Theory next month, will guest-star as the date Ted takes to see The Wedding Bride, EW reports.
